J's Bikes Clothing Credit

For those Club and Racing level members who commit to participating in cycling events, the following clothing credit may be earned.

Event participation from December 1 through November 30 will be evaluated for the following season’s clothing purchase.

• 3 or more events = 20% discount on club clothing purchase
• 8 or more races = $200 credit toward club clothing purchase

Race Bonuses:
Club members receive additional clothing credit toward the following year’s clothing purchases based upon performance in races.

1st place = $30 credit
2nd place = $20 credit
3rd place = $10 credit

Members should wear J's Bikes Racing clothing for events and races and are strongly encouraged to wear their team clothing on training rides (let’s promote our sponsors!)

Definitions:

“Event” = cycling event for which the member has registered and participated and a registration fee is charged (even if not paid ie. member volunteers to work the event and the registration fee is waived). Examples include RAIN, Hauteans in Motion, Hilly Hundred. “Races” count as events.

“Race” = sanctioned race. Ex. USAC, ABR. Member must have registered and started the race.

The JBCC Clothing Credit Program is subject to change or termination and is largely based upon the club’s financial position. The nitty gritty details can be found here.
